Order in Chaos comes from a contradiction that feels very much like me.

Is chaos really something that needs to be correct ed or protected against?

For me, quite the opposite. It is often where I feel most free. It is where I can move without necessarily following an order, a rule or a specific direction. It is within unpredictability that I find space to be creative, instinctive and productive.

And yet, within this chaos, I introduced repetition: the circles. Their arrangement almost resembles a formation, an orderly line, like people in military uniforms, where every element has its place and everything follows a precise rule.

Even the colours evoke that feeling for me: shades that remind me of uniforms, discipline and structure of something that is expected to remain exactly where it belongs.

But here, that order is immersed in chaos.

The circles are not perfect, the surfaces break apart, marks overlap, and the material constantly escapes the structure.

And perhaps that is really the point: I don’t believe order and chaos necessarily must exist in opposition.

We can have rules and still want to break them. We can search for something steady and, at the same time, feel more alive when everything slips beyond our control.

Perhaps my order is not about having everything in its place.

Perhaps my order is feeling free enough to create my own chaos.
