Inspiration
The "Nicaragua Bark" evokes a sense of natural beauty and ruggedness, drawing inspiration from the rich textures and earthy tones of tree bark found in the diverse landscapes of Nicaragua. This title encapsulates the essence of the country's vibrant flora and the unique character of its natural environment.
Although I have never been to Nicaragua, through this painting, I sought to capture the profound sensations and vivid experiences that my son conveyed to me from his journey through this remarkable part of the world.
The painting prominently features textured elements, achieved through layered brushstrokes and possibly mixed media, to replicate the feel of tree bark.
