“The Door on the Refuge” evokes the idea of an entrance into a place of protection and introspection a refuge opening within the heart of the material. At the centre, a cracked square stands like a door, a passage and a symbol of welcome, an opening through which the eye and the soul can find rest.
Across the surface, the luminous, fragmented blue suggests a direction, inviting the eye to orient itself and begin the journey towards this protected space. The warm brown tones surrounding it evoke the outside world and the earth, creating a dialogue between the external world and the inner self.
The door does not impose itself, but invites quietly like a silent invitation to enter.
In this balance between form and colour, “The Door on the Refuge” becomes a visual and symbolic journey: blue guides, brown embraces, together suggesting the possibility of finding safety, introspection and light, even through the cracks in the material.
